Adam Gomez

Senior Pastor  |  Outreach

Adam grew up in the Chaffee Park neighborhood of North Denver.  His teenage years were filled with fist fights, house parties, and heavy alcohol and drug use.  In 1994, he was involved in an alcohol-related car accident that nearly cost his life.  In November of 1995, God dramatically changed his life forever.  Adam now serves as the Senior Pastor of Crossroads Church of Denver.

Rose Yocom

Staff Accountant | Payroll

Rose grew up in Guatemala where she got her major in Business Administration.  When she was 16 she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.  She moved to Colorado as a Diplomat in 2005 and started attending Crossroads Church in 2011.  For her, it is a privilege to serve the church in the accounting and payroll areas.

Randy Engstrom

Construction Coordinator

Randy is a Colorado native and grew up in Arvada.  He retired in 2015 after over 40 years in the rental equipment, sales and service business.  Randy and his wife Mary have been married for 34 years and have a son, Keith who is an architect in Bozeman, Montana.  His hobbies include repairing cars and motorcycles, riding dirt-bikes, snowmobiling and camping.  "Our family has been blessed to be a part of the Crossroads congregation since 2006 and look forward to what God has in store for this Church in a new location. " - Randy.

Adam Gomez Jr

IT Administrator | Production Director

Having grown up around the church and receiving an education in technology, Adam Jr. took on church production right out of High School.  After witnessing the need for technical knowledge in church production,  Adam Jr. approached Pastor Tom Stipe, and Pastor Tom hired Adam Jr. before his passing.  Adam Jr. has  continued to update and evolve Crossroad's production system ever since.  Adam Jr. believes that the best way to reach the people of this technical generation is to make digital outreach the best he can with the tools and supplies God gives him to use.

Brenda Harp

Worship

Our worship team at Crossroads consists of accomplished musicians who are led by Brenda Harp.  Brenda is a singer, songwriter, worship leader, and teacher, who is always seeking new avenues of expression, and new ways to grow musically.   Brenda has released five CDs with original songs containing insightful lyrics that can cause the listener to question, ponder, feel encouraged, lifted, be filled with hope and confidence in our Creator.   Crossroads is blessed to have a worship team who create an atmosphere of praise every service where the Body of Christ can grow stronger in their relationship with God through praise and worship.

Men's Ministry

Jim grew up in Lakewood, finding salvation in Christ while a teenager.   Jim led a weekly Bible study and worship while in college, and later led the youth in a church after graduating.  Jim now serves Crossroads Church of Denver as the Men's Ministry leader and anywhere else he is needed.

Justine Gomez

Women's Ministry Director | Administrative Director

Justine is a native of Colorado and found salvation in Christ as a young woman.  Justine is an invaluable member of the Crossroads team.  She not only leads the Women's Ministry, but she also serves as the Director of Ministries as well as in many other capacities for Crossroads.

Daminica Zamora

Children's Ministry Director

Daminica has a passion for all God's children and a huge heart for kids, especially those with special needs and other challenges   She believes every child that comes through our doors is precious and dearly loved by God.  Daminica believes it is our responsibility to raise up a generation who love and live for Jesus.  Her team prepares children to serve God and love others by providing and planning  fun activities and reading God's Word consistently.   Her favorite quote is, "Your greatest contribution to the kingdom of God may not be something you do but someone you raise."  (Andy Stanley)

Tony & Cindy Reed

Marriage Ministry

Tony and Cindy have been married for over 40 years and have been leading our marriage ministry for over 30 years.  They believe that when couples intentionally invest time, energy, and creativity into their marriage, their relationship moves from stagnant to life-giving.   Our marriage ministry provides a safe place to move toward oneness through small groups, teaching, and fellowship.

Michelle Thorsen

Love Life

Michelle  leads our Love Life Ministry here at Crossroads Church and she is also the Colorado representative for Love Life.  She has a passion for uniting and mobilizing the church to create a culture of love and life that will result in an end to abortion and the orphan crisis. 

Ken & Roma Pitt

Prayer Ministry

Ken and Roma both grew up in the Metro-Denver area and have been married for 42 years.  When they got married, they chose Crossroads (then Calvary Chapel) as their home church.  Ten years later, they went with the Crossroads’ church plant that would become Church in the City – Beth Abraham.  They remained at CITC-BA for 25 years until the Lord called them back to Crossroads . They currently lead the Prayer Ministry and feel that the mission of the prayer ministry is to fulfill the Lord’s mandate to pray and to simply help people.

Mary Engstrom

Greeters & Ushers

Mary grew up in a Christian family and accepted Jesus as her savior in her teens.  She moved to Denver 1984 and met her husband Randy soon thereafter.  They have been married since 1989.  Mary had her son Keith later in life and decided to return to her church roots.  She and Randy have been a part of Crossroads since 2006.  What impressed Mary most was the friendliness of everyone she met there.  Now she strives to be that first smile to others that walk into our church.  Mary has many hobbies including church, family, arts and crafts, ATVing, and traveling.
