Co-Pastor Brandon Hoover
Tom Stipe
is the Senior Pastor of Crossroads Church of Denver. From 1970 to 1976 Tom was an assistant pastor at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa in California under Chuck Smith. During those years his foundation in ministry included serving as a staff evangelist, record producer, worship leader, band member and pastor over the growing ministry of music at the church.

Tom may be remembered by many as the bushy-haired preacher at Calvary's "Saturday Night Concerts." After taking part in the preaching and music evangelism so prevalent during the Jesus Movement years in Southern California, Tom and his family moved to Denver to start Crossroads Church

Teaching the Bible, playing and singing contemporary worship, while mixing these gifts with some bold music evangelism ideas has made Tom's ministry quite interesting to follow. This mix of ministry gifts have taken him from pastors conferences to country music tours, with responsibilities ranging from keynote speaker to tour partner with country singer Ricky Skaggs in Russia. Tom has recorded two country music CDs of his own and has logged hundred's of hours of Bible study teachings. Both the pulpit and the bandstand have become comfortable platforms for Tom's communication of the claims of Christ.

Brandon Hoover
is a Associate Pastor of Crossroads Church of Denver. From a very early age, Brandon was familiar with the things of God, having grown up in the church. It wasn’t until he was 20 years old though, that the “things of God” became a personal relationship with the living God. Feeling a call to the ministry, Brandon finished his Bachelor of Arts in History from Washington State University and began his Master of Divinity from Multnomah Biblical Seminary.
After graduating from Multnomah in 1997, he came on staff at Crossroads Community Church in Vancouver, WA. as the College/Career Pastor and remained there for six years overseeing the young adults ministry, baptisms, and newcomer assimilation.

Brandon and his wife, Karen, then felt a call to Denver, Colorado, and in January of 2002, They moved there to plant a church. After three years of church planting and all the struggles related to it, Brandon came on staff at Crossroads in January 2005.

Brandon, Karen, and their three children, Alexandra, Brycen, and Mackenzie love to ski, mountain bike, play soccer, wakeboard, and spend time together with family and friends. They currently live in Thornton, Colorado.

Geoff Nelson is a Pastor at Crossroads Church of Denver, and he and his wife Pam have been involved in ministry for over thirty years. From his tenure with Campus Crusade for Christ to pastoring a small church in the mountains, Geoff brings a shepherd’s heart and a passion for community. Early in life he had a desire to be in ministry. At age twelve he would visit his pastor for prayer and they would go into the community together to talk with others about Christ. Completing his Masters in Counseling from Colorado Christian University has allowed Geoff to hone his skills in counseling.

Geoff believes in the power of community as a healing agent for the mess of life. Whether coming alongside someone individually or through small groups, he believes that God shows up in very real ways that move our hearts and souls through the process of change. In our post-modern world, people long to experience Christ in real ways but unfortunately the past and the future take us out of the present and keep us stuck. That “stuckness” thwarts the Holy Spirit and leaves us abandoned to the desires of our flesh.
Our flesh hides our true beauty and keeps us busy sewing fancy fig leaves to hide in.

Creating connection and building community allows Geoff the opportunity to enter into a chaotic world and allow God to show up in real ways that impact our lives, our families, our community, and the world.

It is my blessing and privilege to serve Jesus.  I became a Christian when I was in high school at a revival in Fort Collins, Colorado. I began serving in youth ministry as a college student when a friend of mine challenged me to start serving.  As a junior at the University of Northern Colorado I felt the Lord calling me to ministry.  After graduating from UNC in 2000, I started full-time youth ministry working in the Arvada / Wheat Ridge Area.

My passion is to see students come to know the love of Jesus Christ at a deeper level.  I believe in the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God to transform lives. As a servant, my goal is for students and families to experience Jesus and be shaped by the power of His love and forgiveness. I love being a pastor because it constantly challenges me to be a servant.

When I started at Crossroads in 2006, my sole responsibility was the Sr. High Ministry.  Now, I am blessed with the responsibility of the Sr. High Ministry, the Jr. High Ministry, Bulldog Backers and Crossroads Fit.  It has been a challenge and a blessing.

My wife, Holly, and I have been married for seven years and have three wonderful children Paul, Hannah, and William.  My family loves to hike, read books, go to the zoo, and wrestle. God has made my family wonderful and unique, and we love each other deeply.

Hey!
My name is Kory Brunson. Thanks for checkin out my page!
I've been a musician all my life, but have only called it a full time occupation for the past 6 years. In addition to leading worship I also enjoy writing and performing in "the Kory Brunson Band". A country music act that we call "The most inappropriately named band in Denver", since Craig, David, and Joe all contribute.
I believe that the worshipping of God reveals itself in MANY ways, music just being one of them. Ultimately I believe the Words tells us that the over all positioning of our hearts in ALL that we do, day to day, is true worship.
I do consider it a privilege to provide people with an opportunity to meet and spend time with Christ. Ultimately I know that I have no power of my own, the decision to seek the Lord is up to each person individually. My goal is to always do my best to pursue excellence, be obedient, and leave the rest up to God.
In addition to performing music myself, I truly enjoy teaching others how to grow and participate in creating music. SO!.........for the first time in like, ever, Crossroads has formed, and is continuing to form, a Volunteer Worship Team.
We are holding auditions for people wanting to serve/play/sing etc... If you're interested in auditioning, email me at PRecordsCO@aol.com.
Even more than being a musician, I'm most proud to be a husband to Meggin, and father to my two sons Konner and Mitchell. They are my first calling, and my greatest treasure in this life...
Our family has had a wonderful time getting to know everyone since we came here in April of 09. I'm thrilled to be a part of the church family here at Crossroads and look forward to seeing what God has planned for this church down the road...
