Faithful Words (07-02-08) MP3
God went to great lengths to prove the love He has for this world and to communicate to us that right and wrong, truth and error, and our chosen paths lead to either destruction or eternal life. As Pastor Brandon Hoover completes his study of the Revelation of Jesus Christ in a message titled. Faithful Words, he directs our attention to: 1) the magnitude of God's grace; 2) our opportunity to trust Him for life; 3) His punishment of sin and rebellion; and 4) the fact that Jesus will return with both reward and judgment.

Our Future Hope (06-25-08) MP3
Knowing what our future in heaven will be like gives us: 1) courage to face this life; 2) a purpose based on God using our lives to bring others to know Him; and 3) a hope that Satan cannot destroy. Revelation 21:9 - 22:5 is the basis of Pastor Brandon Hoover's message, Our Future Hope, in which he emphasizes the fantastic life we will experience with our Savior in this incredible place.

Heaven at Last! (06-18-08) MP3
Descriptions of the glorious new heaven, new earth, and new Jerusalem are found in Revelation 21:1-8. Brandon Hoover, in his message, Heaven at Last! applies the incredible things seen and reported by John in this chapter to dispel popular myths held about heaven and reinforce how wondrous it will be when God resides among His people there. We are also reminded of the grim destination awaiting those who reject the savior, commit immoral acts, and lie.

Satan's End (06-11-08) MP3
God is going to deal once and for all with the father of all lies, and in Revelation 20 we see a vivid depiction of just that. Pastor Brandon Hoover presents a message titled, Satan's End, explaining his detainment, the rule of the saints, Satan's demise, and the final judgment of men before the throne of God. To avoid this judgment and a horrifying eternity of seperation from God, Brandon implores those of us who have not yet relinquished our lives to Him and claimed Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior to do so.

Finally Here! (06-04-08) MP3
The rejoicing and the wedding feast in Heaven followed by the return of Christ and the capture and confinement of the beast and false prophet in the lake of fire are all detailed in Revelation 19:1-21. Finally Here! is the title of Brandon Hoover's invigorating message prepared from the documentation of these fantastic occurrences witnessed by the Apostle John. Brandon recaps the events transpiring during the seven long years of the Great Tribulation before outlining the attributes of God which should elicit a response of true praise by us. He also draws our attention to the metaphorical marriage of Christ to His church and the actions and responses required for this type of intimate relationship to exist forever between our loving God and His grateful people.

The End Is Here! (05-28-08) MP3
In his message, The End Is Here! prepared from Revelation 18:1-24, Pastor Brandon Hoover renews our excitement about the return of the Lord and refocuses our attention away from the material and carnal things of the Earth. Brandon explains that the fall of Babylon witnessed by the Apostle John in this chapter represents the destruction of an economic, political, and religious world economic system in direct opposition to the ways and will of God. Brandon draws from Jesus' own admonitions and God's instructions to reject materialism so that we can avoid being drawn into the destruction that the followers of the Antichrist will eventually face before Jesus returns.

What's The Diff? (05-21-08) MP3
A vast difference exists between religion and a relationship with God. Brandon Hoover presents a message prepared from the seventeenth chapter of Revelation titled, What's The Diff? in which he reviews the history and development of false religion and contrasts them with the communion life with God lost by Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and restored by the saving work of Jesus Christ on Calvary. In this chapter we learn of the nature of the Mystery Babylon religion propagated in a variety of forms worldwide since the days of Nimrod, its initial relationship with the Antichrist, and the steps God will begin to take to eradicate their influence on humanity.

Always Learning (05-14-08) MP3
From the seven bowl judgments poured out on the enemies of God that are revealed by John in Revelation 16, we discover that hardened, prideful hearts create chasms between us and our Creator. Pastor Brandon Hoover, in his message, Always Learning, reinforces in us a desire to continually learn and grow in our walks with Jesus. Brandon itemizes many of the behaviors of which we must repent or avoid including: unconfessed sin, bitterness, resentment, and self-centeredness.

Come for Life (05-07-08) MP3
Are we allowing Jesus to change us and make us into the people he wants us to be? Brandon Hoover presents a topical communion message titled, Come for Life, in which he describes the new, eternal, and abundant lives the Lord died to give us. Lives that look more like His require our willingness to be changed by Him so that we can attain fresh perspectives and attitudes and increased strength to overcome our faults and weaknesses.

Bad News (04-30-08) MP3
We are told in Revelation 15 that those persecuted, oppressed, and martyred during the reign of the antichrist will be victorious over him because they will not renounce their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Pastor Brandon Hoover, in his message titled, Bad News, explains this eventuality and previews the seven bowl judgments to come in the form of devastating plagues that will brought by seven angels who will carry out the full wrath of God. Brandon reminds us that God is loving, but we must understand that because He is holy and just as well, God must bring His final judgment on the earth in response to the sin that is so prevalent here.

A Coming Reality (04-23-08) MP3
As Brandon Hoover peers further into the profound, difficult prophecies contained in Revelation 14, we learn about the future awaiting those who know and trust in the Lord and the future awaiting those who worship and bear the mark of the beast. Brandon's message, A Coming Reality, deciphers the Apostle John's visions of the Lamb and the 144,000, the proclamations of three angels in heaven, and the reaping of the Earth's harvest of saved and condemned people. In short, we discover that those who love and worship God can expect an eternity of comfort and rest in His presence, while those who worship the beast will feel His full wrath and suffer everlasting torment and separation.

The Power of The Left Hand (04-16-08) MP3
The story of Ehud's bold assassination of King Eglon found in Judges 3:12-30 shows us that God: 1) desires to save us when we cry out to Him in desperation and brokenness; 2) uses our uniqueness to accomplish His purposes; and 3) speaks to us through His Spirit with requests to perform simple tasks for the furtherance of His kingdom that require us to share our faith, stand up for righteousness and justice, and speak words of encouragement to those who suffer. Youth Pastor Erik Miller unearths the subtleties of this story in his message titled, The Power of The Left Hand, and he offers us words of inspiration grounded in the depth of God's goodness, love, power, abundant mercy, and provision throughout our lives.

The False Prophet (04-09-08) MP3
In Revelation 13:11-18, we see the a second beast coming up from the earth with the ability to perform fantastic signs and wonders to ultimately deceive the world, incite the worship of the Antichrist and his animated image, and enforce a global economy completely under his control. Brandon Hoover, in his message titled, The False Prophet, contends that Christ's Church will be raptured and not on the earth during this period; nonetheless, we should study the Bible and pray for God's discernment to avoid falling prey to the constant lies and spiritual deception and influence of Satan in these days prior to the great tribulation.

The First Beast (04-02-08) MP3
The Antichrist will perpetrate his greatest deception and lead humanity to worship Satan and despise God during the great tribulation. Pastor Brandon Hoover puts this unholy deceiver under the microscope in his study of Revelation 13:1-10 titled, The First Beast. Because of the Antichrist's political status, power, and intelligence, Brandon applies the Apostle John's symbolism to describe his blasphemous character, how he will dominate the world, and how chaotic life will be for those who will remain on the earth during his reign.

Heavenly Warfare (03-26-08) MP3
Brandon Hoover understands that we need a balanced view about Satan, and if we study the Bible closely, we will know that he exists and is the enemy of our souls. In his message based on Revelation 12:1-17 titled, Heavenly Warfare, Brandon deciphers the signs and symbols found in this chapter, and he encourages us to continue fighting the good fight in the spiritual realm with the assurance that we face a defeated foe.

The Third Woe (03-19-08) MP3
In Revelation 11:15-19, God uses foreshadowing of future events to encourage and remind us that no matter how difficult and bleak our lives become, we have the hope of and confidence in Christ's supreme reign, righteous judgment, and gracious rewards. Pastor Brandon Hoover extracts three inevitable outcomes from the point the seventh trumpet sounds and the third woe arrives on the earth: 1) God will be victorious over sin and death; 2) He will be praised by His church for His goodness and mercy; and 3) He is faithful and worthy of our praise and love regardless of the anger of the nations of the world who rebel against Him.

Jesus Makes Us Normal (03-12-08) MP3
Crossroads' missionary in Eger, Hungary, Nick Cady, presents an overview and update of his church planting work and evangelism in a predominantly atheistic country. Nick identifies the special emphasis God has given him to share the Gospel with the people of Eger. Using the example of the demoniac healed by Jesus in Mark 5:1-20, Nick elaborates on the redemptive transformation to normality and wholeness that occurs when we surrender our lives to the Lord.

The Two Underdogs (03-05-08) MP3
God is faithful, and He will allow nothing to happen to us until we accomplish His will for our lives. This is one of several truths we can find in the story of the two witnesses identified in Revelation 11:1-14. Brandon Hoover, in his message titled, The Two Underdogs, walks us through their appearing, purposes, death, resurrection, and ascension. Brandon notes that the much speculation surrounds their unknown identities, but a possible reason they were unidentified is because God had once again chosen unknown people to accomplish extraordinary tasks

The Little Book (02-27-08) MP3
There are some events mentioned in the Bible that we cannot not interpret until God allows us to understand them. One such mystery is the symbolism behind and meaning of the words uttered by the seven thunders (Revelation 10:4) which God prohibited John from transcribing; yet, as John experienced in Revelation 10:10, God's words are both sweet to taste and bitter to ingest because they contain messages of His love for us and the woe that will result on Earth from His judgment. Pastor Brandon Hoover's message, The Little Book, gives us a vivid picture of the activities witnessed and undertaken by John during the interlude from the trumpet judgments found in Revelation 10.

First Woe (02-20-08) MP3
Chapter 9 of Revelation presents one of the most depressing visions of life on Earth resulting from God's judgments of unrepentant sinners in the entirety of this book of the Bible. Brandon Hoover's message, First Woe, details the terror of two of the last three trumpet judgments awaiting millions worldwide who refuse to stop worshipping idols, murdering, and performing other immoral deeds. Brandon assures us of the reality of the demonic realm and focuses on the severity of the actual consequences those who refuse to turn to God can expect to l suffer during this dark time of the Great Tribulation.

Sound The Trumpets (02-13-08) MP3
Pastor Brandon Hoover presents a message titled, Sound The Trumpets, prepared from Revelation 8:1-13 in which he explains the events in Heaven and on Earth following the Lamb of God's opening of the seventh seal. Specifically, Brandon addresses the meaning of the half hour silence in Heaven after the seal was opened, the prayers of the saints offered to God and their importance to Him, the first four trumpet judgments imparted on the Earth and the devastation resulting from them, and the merciful warnings of God given to get the attention of and produce repentance in His people who had thus far been spared from these fearsome events.

Come For Rest (02-06-08) MP3
What did Jesus mean when He said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest,"? Brandon Hoover opens with Revelation 8:1 and then develops a communion message titled, Come For Rest, based on this famous quote found in Matthew 11:28. Brandon contends that the solace and repose Jesus offers is: 1) from our efforts to attain righteousness and salvation; 2) from our fears of being unloved and rejected, our failings, and our feelings of inadequacy; and 3) from the eternal consequence of our sins. Brandon notes that energy, strength, and a new life with hope and fresh perspectives are available when we come to Him recognizing and admitting our spiritual sickness and need of a Savior.

Mercy (01-30-08) MP3
Pastor Brandon Hoover sees in Revelation 7 that God is not yet finished with the work of redeeming and restoring of His chosen people. In his message titled, Mercy, Brandon finds an undeniable showing of Gods compassion toward the 144,000 people of the 12 tribes of Israel even during His wrathful judgment of humankind at the time of the Great Tribulation. Brandon also gives distinct examples of the Father's heart toward repentant sinners found in the words of Jesus presented in John 8:3-11 and Matthew 18:21-35 to help us contextualize and understand the concept of divine mercy.

The Seals (01-16-08) MP3
In Revelation 6:9-17, John sees the Lamb open the fifth and six scroll seals, the slain martyrs pleading with God to judge Earth's inhabitants and avenge their murders, and then terrifying cosmic disturbances and the reaction of the unrepentant to God's wrath poured out upon them. Brandon Hoover presents a message titled, The Seals, in which he explains these extraordinary and dreadful events that will take place during the "day of the Lord" and cites corresponding scriptures from the New Testament revealing why they must happen. Brandon concludes that only those who know and accept the truth will be able to stand on that day.

Judgment Begins (01-09-08) MP3
While some people believe that the seal judgments on the Earth portrayed in Revelation 6:1-8 represent events that have and continue to occur throughout the Church Age, Associate Pastor Brandon Hoover contends that these events will come about immediately before the end of days. Brandon's message, Judgment Begins, offers his interpretation of the prophetic visions seen by John in this passage. Brandon comforts us with the knowledge that Revelation is a reminder to believers that God is in control even in the midst of the terrible realities that plague a sinful world. Moreover, for those who have not given their lives to Jesus Christ, God's patience, love, and desire that none should perish afford nonbelievers the opportunity to turn to Him before these calamities are unleashed.

A New Start (01-02-08) MP3
We don't get fresh starts just once a year; the Bible tells us we have them every day. In his message, A New Start, Associate Pastor Brandon Hoover reveals some of his own New Year's resolutions in the hope of stirring us to make some of our own that coincide with instructions given throughout God's Word. Brandon offers some of these specific ways we could resolve to grow in 2008: 1) draw closer to the Lord; 2) love our spouses in ways meaningful to them; 3) be a better spiritual leader to our children; 4) honor our parents; 5) live in ways that are above reproach; 6) be a better steward of what God has given us; and 7) reach out and be more hospitable to others.

The Lion And The Lamb (12-12-07) MP3
In the fifth chapter of Revelation we receive a vision of God the Redeemer, His worthiness, and the worship that is centered on Him. Brandon Hoover, in his message, The Lion and The Lamb, continues interpreting the symbolism of the images seen in Heaven by the Apostle John including a scroll with seven seals and the slain Lamb with seven horns and seven eyes deemed by God as the only One worthy to open the scroll. Brandon gleans from this chapter four reasons why we worship Jesus Christ: 1) because of who He is; 2) because of where He is; 3) because of what He does; and 4) because of what He has.

Heavenly Sounds (12-05-07) MP3
We have the incredible opportunity to live in light of Heaven. Associate Pastor Brandon Hoover, in his message titled, Heavenly Sounds, peers into the vision of God's presence given to the Apostle John and reported in Revelation 4:1-11. From the spectacular details described in this passage, Brandon surmises that Heaven is our future hope, the actual location of God's throne, and a place of perpetual worship. Brandon also inquires about our interest and desire being piqued about residing there to a point where we live each day in anticipation of our eternal destination.

Christ's Return? (11-28-07) MP3
Brandon Hoover tackles the multiple views of Jesus' second coming, the rapture, and His millennial reign in a topical message titled, Christ's Return? developed from Revelation 4:1. Starting with the question, "Could Christ return today?" Brandon defines futurist and preterist interpretations of end times events, quotes related gospel texts containing Jesus' delineation of events that must transpire before His second coming (i.e., those scriptures that apparently contradict the notion of His immanent return), and reconciles this belief with prophetic prerequisites as signs given to us to anticipate and prepare for His coming in glory.

The Lord's Remedy (11-14-07) MP3
The city of Laodicea had much of which to be proud; yet, its church was chided by Jesus in Revelation 3:14-22 for being indifferent and complacent toward Him and ignorant of their spiritual poverty and wretchedness. Associate Pastor Brandon Hoover presents a message, The Lord's Remedy, based on this last letter to the seven churches in which is found no commendation for the Laodicean church, but rather antidotes for their ecclesiastic shortcomings and apathy toward Him.

The Faithful Church (11-07-07) MP3
Like the church of Philadelphia, the Lord wants to love, encourage, and strengthen us if we are willing to hear Him. Brandon Hoover, in his message from Revelation 3:7-13 titled, The Faithful Church, makes note that the church of Philadelphia was the only one to not receive a rebuke from Jesus. Brandon delineates the nuances of this encouraging letter and defines the various views (futurist, idealist, preterist) of the Rapture and pending return of Christ.

The Dead Church (10-17-07) MP3
Associate Pastor Brandon Hoover explores the Sardis church's reputation, sinful practices, God's love of, and remedy for their fallen state unveiled in Revelation 3:1-6. Brandon's message, The Dead Church, includes a list of symptoms of spiritually dying or deceased Christian groups and individuals such as: 1) slow, steady acceptance of sin; 2) replacing concern for things of God with things of the world; and 3) no longer standing for the truth. Fortunately, when we become vigilant and sensitive about behaviors and practices that grieve the heart of God, receive strength from the Holy Spirit, remember who we are as heirs of His kingdom, and repent of our sins, we can be restored.

Church of Thyatira (10-10-07) MP3
In what do we participate, or what we tolerate that hinders our relationship with Christ? As Brandon Hoover delves into the imagery, symbolism, encouragement, and admonitions found in Revelation 2:18-29 in his message, Church of Thyatira, we see Jesus' desire for us to be a church exhibiting love while practicing discernment. The Lord brings words to this small church (and to us individually) affirming acts of love, service, faith, and perseverance while condemning works of immorality and compromise. Brandon reminds us of God's judgment, wrath, righteousness, holiness being as much parts of His character as are His grace, mercy, and longsuffering. We can be tolerant of people but not of destructive practices and ways of life that compromise God's directives.
