Homeless Ministry

We meet in a group every third Saturday of each month, in the parking lot of the main Crossroads Church building, at 1:00pm. We leave at 1:30 pm and drive to the Civic Center Park downtown (across from the Capitol) to pass out lunches, water, clothing, sleeping bags, etc. and minister to the homeless men, women, and children we find there in the park. We advise that if you want to come downtown with our group to personally minister to the homeless, you must be at least 18 years old or bring a responsible adult with you, for your own safety.

There are so many ways to get involved with this amazing ministry, either by your time, donations, and prayers! If you want to donate, here are some ideas: non-perishable food that is ready to eat, bottled water, gift cards to fast food restaurants, toiletries, winter clothing, blankets, sleeping bags, Bibles, writing paper with self-addressed stamped envelopes, duffle bags, back backs, etc.
