This is the second year of serving the students and families of Arvada High School. We are humbled and thrilled again have the opportunity to coordinate this program. We need your help. God did incredible things through our church last year, and He has even greater things in store for us this year.
Our first opportunity to serve the students is the school supply drive. We are going to work the drive a little differently this year. We are asking that you and your family purchase a backpack and fill it with school supplies. We are hoping that families at Crossroads will be willing to fill a backpack much the same way they fill a box for Operation Christmas Child.
Please begin gathering school supplies right away. We will be collecting your backpacks and supplies at the church on Sunday, August 9th. This will be the "Big Dog Sunday".
SUGGESTED SCHOOL SUPPLIES
School Supplies for Arvada High
1. 3-4 Spiral Notebooks (at least 100 sheets)
2. 3-4 packages of college-rule loose-leaf paper
3. 1-2 packages of graph paper
4. Pencils (with erasers-preferably #2 lead)
5. Pens (blue or black ink)
6. Colored pencils
7. Ruler
8. Basic scientific calculator
9. 3-4 3 ring binders (1-2 inch)
10. 10 folders with pockets
11. Glue stick
12. 8-10 dividers (for 3 ring binders)
13. 1 package of note cards
14. 1 package of sticky notes
15. 1 USB drive (to save data)
